Opinion: Baylor Basketball Should Add a Point Guard through the Transfer Portal

This debate has been going on for a while — at least since the end of the season — and I’ve waffled a few times on what Baylor should do. But I now think the Bears should grab a starting point guard in the portal. Here are a few reasons. 

1) Baylor should maximize each season

As Scott Drew’s consideration of Kentucky showed, you don’t know how long you have until things change. I think Baylor would have made another strong coaching hire if Drew had left.
