I hate to start talking "conspiracy theories" again but here goes. I won't be surprised if get "jobbed" again by the refs this Saturday at Kyle for the following reasons:
(1) It's virtually a lock that Aggy is going to lose to the Whorns the week after and will therefore not qualify for a bowl by losing to BU. This also means the Big 12 could be denied the additional bowl bid A&M's appearance would represent (as an aside by a large state school that will travel a lot of fans to a bowl) because we would still have to beat TTech to take Aggy's place with the bid - at best a very risky proposition for the league.
(2) It's at Kyle and will be played before 70K+ screaming Aggys (even deducting the BU fans that will be there). The best we've ever gotten in a game there is a fairly called game (i.e. can anyone ever remember BU getting a "job" at Kyle? For that matter, can anyone site an example of Aggy getting "jobbed" against us anywhere?). On the other hand, there have been multiple cases of us getting screwed in games there in the past, as well as in Waco.
(3) BU's games against OU and the Whorns definitely show the Big 12 refs have absolutely no qualms about screwing us over against the "big schools". Obviously Aggy's current status is way below those two, but based on (1) above I have no reason to feel the refs will have any reluctance to do the same thing again.
Hopefully this won't come to fruition, but I'm just saying don't be surprised if it does.

You can bet there will be several "questionable" calls that go against Baylor this weekend. That being said, the Bears are good enough to overcome them and beat a very mediocre Aggie team.
We always get bad calls at Aggy. That will never change. The coaches need to just put that in their gameplan beforehand, and come up with a way to win regardless.
Just expect it 2@ Kyle Field. I've seen it so many times over the years. My theory is when the Aggies under Jackie Sherrill got on probation for paying their players, they turned to paying the refs off instead. Too many weird calls over the years.
I remember Baylor getting 'jobbed' when the official blew the whistle too soon when J.J. Joe was leaning across the goal line on 4th down, and Texas A&M got a gift call taking over on downs, and eventually winning in controvesial fashion, 19-13.

Ordinarily I would agree but right now Baylor and Texas A & M are totally insignificant in Major College Football. Nobody really cares but us. Is a touchdown really a touchdown if nobody is watching?

I've already paid off the back judge and head linesman.

Same game:
How about the touchdown that Robert Strait clearly scored but the ball was inexplicably spotted on the one yard line (and we ultimately didn't score)?
How about 2 full seconds running off the clock to end the first half after we ran out of bounds in range of a chip shot field goal (of course the ref didn't reset the clock)?
How about wrestling style take downs of BU d-lineman by A&M o-lineman on one of two long A&M runs for touchdowns (they only scored two touchdowns for the day) with of course no holding called?
The "12th Man" that day was wearing black and white stripes instead of Maroon.....

I think the Big 12 cares how many bowl teams it gets in and that was one of my points.....

It was an incomplete pass, not running out of bounds. Clearly screwed by the refs in that game--burned in my memory.
The Bears may well have to beat the 12th through 17th man in stripes as well as the guy in helmets.

Baylor didn't need the refs last week to get 'jobbed'. They do a repeat pathetic performance at Kyle, and it'll end in the same result.

Now that you mention it, you're right, it was an incomplete pass, but there was two seconds that were allowed to run off the clock after the pass was incomplete which ended the half and prevented a field goal attempt (and as I recall that year we actually had a fairly decent kicker that most likely would've hit it).

This is why other Big XII schools mock our fanbase, we never believe we can win. I want every negative poster to eat crow when we beat the hell out of the ***gies in their own house. Sic 'Em Bears!
